The Early Modern Catholicism Network at Oxford is a new hub to encourage, enhance, and promote research touching on early modern Catholicism from across the academic disciplines. Within Oxford, we aim to facilitate links between scholars based within different faculties and to provide practical support for collaborative projects. We also welcome visiting speakers and are looking to develop strong collaborative links with research groups internationally.
The EMC Network hosts a regular interdisciplinary seminar: please visit the seminar page for further details.
The Network will also be supporting various workshops based on key themes: please visit the workshops page for news of upcoming events.
Our activities are organised by Clare Copeland (Somerville) and Nicholas Davidson (St Edmund Hall) and sponsored by The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities. While Clare is on maternity leave in 2014, also involved are Tom Hamilton (New), Katie McKeogh (Linacre), and Emma Turnbull (Balliol).
